Admiral Donovan Schofield, also known as Admiral Schofield, was born on March 30, 1997, in London, England. He is one of Anthony and Dawn Schofield’s five children.

Admiral enrolled in Zion-Benton Township High School in Zion, Illinois, after finishing middle school, and remained there until his graduation. He started as a center for their high school team.

In addition to playing for his school, he competed in AAU tournaments for Team NLP. Schofield’s consistent point-scoring abilities and frequent rebounds never failed to impress his coaches and spectators.

Admiral was also named to the Associated Press Class 4A All-State second team as a senior after being nominated for the McDonald’s All-American.

College Life

Admiral Schofield attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and majored in African Studies. He was primarily there to play basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

Schofield missed three matches as a result of a rule violation during his sophomore season, but he saw more playing time than the previous year. He made little progress, however, and finished the season with 8.2 points per game.

He demonstrated his true abilities over the last two seasons, averaging double-digit points and rebounds per game.

Professional Development
