His intended wedding date had been set for August of 2017 but was delayed after Linda accepted an invitation to play at V Festival. But on August 11, 2018, he and his longtime girlfriend Linda wed in St. Paul’s Cathedral, the same location where Prince Charles wed Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1988, making his dream come true1. Ade obtained permission to wed at the cathedral through disability sport.
He considers himself extremely fortunate to have a supportive wife who loves him unconditionally. He and his wife appear to be enjoying their union and will soon begin a family with extra members.
Ade Adepitan Short Bio
According to his biography, Ade Adepitan was born in Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria, on March 27, 1973. He developed polio at the age of six months, which caused him to lose the use of his left leg and ultimately made it impossible for him to walk. His father was in London when he and his mother lived in Nigeria. Along with him, his mother moved to the UK to live with her husband.
He went to Southern Road Primary School, where he received a lot of assistance for his disabilities and personal issues. He was motivated to join international sports teams at an early age and eventually enrolled in Lister Community School.
