What you choose to do as a career in the future is significantly influenced by the environment in which you are raised.
The clearest illustration of this is Abou Thiam, younger brother of a musical superstar and the son of a renowned drummer. Abou decided to pursue music as a career after being encouraged by his father and brother, and he stood out admirably in the music business.

On March 25, 1982, in New Jersey, the famed percussionist Mor Thiam gave birth to Abou Thiam, also known as Bu.
His parents were born in Senegal, a country in West Africa. He is also Akon’s younger brother, who is a businessman, rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer.
At just 28 years old, Bu was the youngest individual to ever be named the Vice-President of A&R at Def Jam Records.
His Career, Net Worth
Bu was an early fan of Akon’s music, much like all the other younger brothers. For his brother Akon’s multi-platinum album, Trouble, he was given the A&R duties.
The first artist Bu signed in 2005 was T-Pain. The success of T-debut Pain’s album increased Bu’s self-assurance on the career route he had chosen for himself.
Bu is a businessman and a music executive at present.
Together with his brother Akon, Bu has had a number of controversies. Leland Clopton, a producer, sued both of the brothers in December 2016 for allegedly hiding financial documents in order to avoid paying royalties.
Bu does, however, actively engage in social cause activities in addition to his controversies.
Abou founded one of Senegal’s biggest internet service providers in September 2018. He had the notion to introduce the internet in Senegal because of his frequent trips to that country and the absence of internet there.
His contribution to Senegal’s internet infrastructure is significantly more than the amount of money for which he is being sued. Therefore, the royalty case’s true depth of millions is still unexplored.
Since 2005, Bu has been involved in the music industry. His career is still in its early stages, as seen by the growing number of Instagram followers he is accumulating. He certainly possesses a substantial quantity of real estate and a sizable financial worth.
Akon, who shares his brother’s height of 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 meters), was a very popular performer at the time. It is estimated that Akon is worth $80 million.
Abou Thiam’s Dating History
In 2010, Bu gave birth to a daughter with Ariel Hakim. He used to pay Ariel $3000 a month to take care of the kids.
After two years, Ariel demanded more money and left with her daughter without providing him with the required 30-day notice. As a result, Bu backfired on Ariel by claiming that her behavior violated his right to visitation.
Bu and Tracee Ellis Ross had a committed relationship starting in 2011. Their romance only lasted until 2013. Bu, though, continues to assert his love for Tracee. In a July 2018 interview, Bu expressed his intense love for Tracee.
Bu added that Tracee and he would always be lovers and that any of his future girlfriends should be aware of this.
Their breakup’s true cause is still a mystery. The only thing that is known is that Bu’s reputation as a polygamist in the public caused Tracee’s mother Diana to be unhappy with their relationship.
