Teddi Mellencamp, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was the first celebrity to be ejected from Celebrity Big Brother’s third season.
However, now that she was no longer on the show, she was able to return to her own home, where her adoring husband, Edwin Arroyave, and their two children awaited her return. In July 2021, the couple celebrated their ten-year wedding anniversary.
Teddi Mellencamp was the first to be kicked out of the House
On the third episode of this season, which aired on February 4, 2022, Teddi was ousted from the show. The reality star revealed the heartwarming letter from her family that she would have received if she had won the in-game Head of Household next week the next day.
“However, because I wasn’t offered the opportunity, I’ll just keep running my own family,” she explained.
She then went on to mock the reality program she’d just been booted from, writing, “Perhaps snuggle with the kids in my lovely bed and tell them stories about how to play games with your heart and honesty.”
She stated that her experience on the reality TV show had been great while it lasted, despite the not-so-subtle criticism.
Teddi Mellencamp’s Letters were written by her husband and children
Her husband and children had written letters to the family’s matriarch after being apart from Teddi for nearly 18 days. Both of her children had written letters detailing their accomplishments while their mother was abroad. Teddi had supposedly signed Slate up for a mindfulness class before she departed, and the child was also improving in math.
Teddi’s eldest daughter likewise expressed her enthusiasm for an upcoming horse event. The adorable daughter stated that she would record everything so that she could watch it with Teddi whenever they were reunited.
Before telling his mother that he’d been reading every day while she was away, the adoring son expressed his excitement for his forthcoming football game. Cruz was researching the American Bison for his school project, claiming it to be the largest mammal in North America.
While he recognized that school was a lot of fun, he found that reading on his own was even more so. Both children said that they missed their mother and that they couldn’t wait to write her more letters.
The husband’s letter, unlike the kids’, was all about appreciation and motivation. He’d written about how much he loved his wife and how fortunate he was to have her in his life. He only revealed later that he had everything under control at home and that he was holding down the fort while she was out filming the show.
Edwin Arroyave is Teddi Mellencamp’s Husband
According to his website, Arroyave is the CEO and Founder of Skyline Security Management, one of Brinks Home Security’s largest authorized dealers. Arroyave was born in Colombia but immigrated to the United States at a young age. Since then, he’s been based in Los Angeles.
He was compelled to take financial responsibility for his family at an early age, and at the age of 15, while still in high school, he began working remotely as a telemarketing. His company, which he founded with a partner in 1999, is one of the top 35 minority-owned enterprises in the city of Los Angeles.
