The stars are divided into two categories: those who love it and those who despise Since 2008, Hilary Farr and David Visentin have been remodeling and selling homes on their HGTV show. Hundreds of homes in Ontario and North Carolina have received a makeover over their decade-long partnership.
Love It or List It was filmed in Ontario for the first six years, while the rest of the seasons were shot in North Carolina. After more than eight years of filming in the United States, Visentin and Farr are returning to Canada to shoot the upcoming season in the Greater Toronto Area.

The show’s Twitter page had asked interested people to join the casting auditions for their upcoming season back in January 2021. A person must meet five conditions in order to be a part of the show, according to the show. Despite the fact that production started in May 2021, the show invited more fans to submit for the casting call a month later.
Visentin and Farr
Over the years, Love It or List It has become one of HGTV’s most popular shows. What’s more, the chemistry between Farr and Visentin adds to the fun. Their banter is often entertaining, and their opposing positions of Farr attempting to persuade his customers to maintain their home and Visentin pressuring them to sell it contribute to the show’s watch value.
Given how perfectly Farr and Visentin complement one other, it’s understandable that many viewers assume the two knew each other long before filming began, but this isn’t the case. They only met for the first time during their audition for the HGTV show. Visentin was cast a few weeks before Farr, and the real estate agent recalled how the filmmakers thought he and Farr would make a good team.
Over the years, the co-stars have formed a strong bond and are close friends. Visentin stated that he and Farr had a lot of fun together, which he believes is why so many people enjoyed seeing them. Farr further stated that the two adored each other and frequently made each other laugh.
What Happened to Them?
When Farr and Visentin aren’t filming Love It or List It, they live lives very different from those depicted in the show. Apart from the HGTV show, Farr has had a few acting roles, notably playing the villainess in Ross Petty Productions’ theater production of Sleeping Beauty.
Farr had lived in several areas of the world before starting her work as a home designer, including Australia, California, England, and New York. Gordon Farr, her ex-husband, and she had a son together. She also has a large number of grandchildren.
Visentin is married to Krista Visentin and has a kid named Logan. He lives in Barrie, Ontario. He has been selling real estate since 1987, and according to his HGTV bio, he is a top agent in the booming real estate market in Southern Ontario.
