Chrisley Knows Best is a reality television show that follows Todd Chrisley and his family through their daily life. Todd’s granddaughter, Chloe Chrisley, was featured on the show for a long time, and she immediately became a fan favorite.
Todd’s son Kyle Chrisley and his ex-girlfriend Angela Johnson have a daughter named Chloe. Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, have custody of Chloe, according to viewers of the show.

Legal squabbles
Kyle was born to Todd and Teres Terry, Todd’s ex-wife. He is bipolar and has previously fought with drug addiction. He and Johnson welcomed Chloe in 2012, but he was arrested in 2013 and lost custody of his daughter.
Johnson came up shortly after and confirmed Kyle’s drug use. She also mentioned his violent tendencies and accused him of abusing her while she was pregnant.
When I was pregnant, he grabbed me and choked me. He once became enraged with me and lunged at me with a knife while I was holding Chloe. He was threatening to stab me when he hurled a bottle of pills at me and Chloe, hitting us square in the face.
After Kyle’s arrest, Todd shared custody with Chloe’s birth mother, although that changed later. Johnson was arrested in 2016 on charges of defrauding Medicaid and food assistance by identifying Chloe as a dependent.
Chloe’s mother was reportedly receiving Medicaid payments for more than three years by claiming her daughter was a dependant when she was actually living with Todd. She owing Medicaid $20,000 at the time of her arrest.
Kyle and His Chrisley Relatives
Chloe began appearing in Chrisley Knows Best when she moved in with Todd. Kyle said that his relatives exploited his daughter in order to raise ratings for their reality show. Todd had exhibited little interest in Chloe, according to him, until he learned that having a mixed-race child might benefit his demographic.
Todd, on the other hand, brushed aside his son’s charges. Following Kyle threatened to sue the network, Chloe was removed from Chrisley Knows Best after the third season. When Todd confirmed Chloe’s return to the show in 2017, he said he and the rest of his family treated her like one of them.

Kyle and Todd’s relationship was strained for a long time, but they finally mended. In August 2019, Kyle resorted to social media to support his father following his indictment for tax evasion.
Kyle claimed that his parents were always supportive of him, even while he was acting out due to his drug addiction. Todd forgave him and welcomed him with open arms when he went to apologize, despite all he had done over the years.
