Aniplex has officially confirmed the second season of Demon Slayer. Check out all we know so far about the new anime series, including the release date, cast, and trailers.
The famous shonen anime Demon Slayer, Kimetsu to Yaiba, will return for a second season, according to Aniplex. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba: Movie: Mugen Train, a feature film based on the popular anime series of the same name, was released in 2020. Demon Slayer’s second season will be set in Yoshiwara’s red-light district and is based on the Mugen Train anime film.
Demon Slayer was adapted into an anime with 26 episodes. During a brutal war between humans, demons, and humans, a young boy searches for a way to save his sister.
Release Date for Demon Slayer Season 2
The second season of Demon Slayer will be released in 2021. No date has been scheduled, however. In February 2021, the anime’s official Twitter account revealed the announcement. Uzui, who will play a major role in the upcoming season, was included in some official artwork.
Despite the lack of a release date in the trailer, it was confirmed that the anime would return in 2021. On July 21, Aniplex published a video with several major graphics from the second season.

As we saw in Season 1, Tanjiro has decided to become a slayer in order to save his sister and avenge the deaths of his family members. You’re excited to see what Season 2 has in store for you in the next season.
As Tanjiro faces the demons, the plot of Demon Slayer Season 2 is explored, and this will bring plenty of emotion, drama, and adventure. We can also expect to see new characters this time, such as a new demon and a new sidekick for Tanjiro’s sister Muzan.
We’re excited to see if Tanjiro can vanquish the creatures and resurrect his family. I’m crossing my fingers that Season 2 will be better than Season 1.
