Bee Shaffer, a well-known figure, has embraced the spotlight as the daughter of USA-based Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour. However, being one of the celebrity children, she chose to avoid the limelight for the majority of her life but had to deal with her famous-daughter status.
And the opportunity came at an excellent time, as she became the subject of media attention after meeting the love of her life. Although the duo made a concerted effort to conceal their relationship, some things cannot be hidden for much longer.
Close Friendship Between Mothers; Engaged Following A Year of Dating
Bee Shaffer’s mother was previously acquainted with Francesco Carrozzini’s mother long before Bee and the Italian director had a close friendship.
The pair was first rumored to be dating in October 2016 following their attendance at the screening of Francesco’s documentary on his mother.
Francesco is a professional photographer and the son of the late Franca Sozzani, the Vogue magazine’s editor-in-chief located in Italy. The couple was sighted on numerous occasions following the event and were even spotted together at the Met Gala. Many believed, however, that the two were dating well before they were meant to be a couple.
Bee, who announced her engagement to the professional photographer in March 2017, was photographed at the 2017 Met Gala wearing her engagement ring. Bee flashed her enormous diamond ring while posing alongside her then-fiance, Francesco, at an event in May 2017.
Following their engagement, the lovebirds, who sold their Beverly Hills home for an amazing $7 million in 2017, waited more than a year to eventually walk down the aisle and vow to a lifelong marriage.
Mastic Wedding Ceremony; Strict Guests Instructions
On 7 July 2010, Bee Shaffer married Francesco Carrozzini. The wedding ceremony took conducted at Anna’s residence on Long Island’s Mastic peninsula. The pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony attended by just close family and friends. The visitors were strictly prohibited from sharing any details about the event on social media.
Later that night, the life partners had an after-party at New York’s Bowery Hotel, which was attended by a select group of people.
Bee and her husband were spotted together roaming the streets of Manhattan the day after the wedding. Francesco wore both her wedding and engagement rings during the day. Bee even took on her husband’s surname when she changed her Instagram handle to “beecarrozzini.”
