In 2016, Adams and his pilot and instrumentalist wife Kristina Basham started dating. People have been making disparaging remarks about them since they began dating, owing to their age gap.
A Twitterati weighed in on Adams and Basham’s connection on July 12, 2018. Adams was astute, seeing that the former model was only with him for the money; nonetheless, he allowed her to be with him since he desired a young female in his life. On July 8, 2018, when Adams shared a gorgeous photo of his now-wife on Twitter, a Twitter user insulted them, adding, “your granddaughter?”
These are only a few examples of unsettling and hurtful remarks directed at the couple.

They retaliated against the slurs.
Adams and Basham married on July 11, 2020, after being together for four years. And just a few days after the wedding, the couple retaliated against the negative remarks about their marriage and love.
To answer to the naysayers, the comic creator initially resorted to Twitter. He sarcastically congratulated the “bitter and shattered people” who spoke negative things about his wedding on July 14, 2020. He further mentioned that he and his wife found the cruel remarks amusing.
Thank you to everyone who was bitter and hurt over my wedding. We thought it was amusing that so many expert writers could only come up with one joke-insult… and it was the same.
Scott’s pilot wife responded to her husband’s tweet on July 15, 2020, by addressing nasty remarks about Scott’s wedding gown. She mentioned that he wanted to wear a jacket and tie, but she told him that it was too hot for him to do so. She also discussed their age difference at the end. “I’m 30,” she wrote. The difference in age is meaningless. “I’m a WOMAN who has reached adulthood.”

Scott Adams- Relationships Before This
Adams previously married Shelly Miles before marrying Basham. In July 2006, the ex-couple tied the knot on a yacht in San Francisco Bay.
Adams was 49 years old at the time of the wedding, and it was his first marriage. Shelly, who was 39 at the time and had two children, a six-year-old son and an eight-year-old daughter, had her second child. In 2014, the couple separated.
Basham, like Chad Basham, was married. They share parenting responsibilities for their two daughters.
