Diego Corrales was a professional boxer in the United States who fought from 1996 to 2007. From 1999 to 2000, he held the IBF super featherweight crown, the WBO super featherweight title, the WBO lightweight title, the WBC, Ring magazine, and lineal lightweight titles, and the WBC, Ring magazine, and lineal lightweight titles from 2005 to 2006.
Corrales’ acclaimed first bout with José Luis Castillo won him Fight of the Year honors from The Ring and the Boxing Writers Association of America in 2005. Here are some of his quotes:
