Gabby Douglas was born on December 31, 1995, and is a well-known American artistic gymnast. She won the Olympic all-around title in 2012 and the World all-around silver medal in 2015.
She had the opportunity to be a member of gold-winning teams in both the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Similarly, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at the World Championships in 2011 and 2015.
She is also the first African American to win the Olympic individual all-around title, as well as the first American gymnast to win gold in both the individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympics.
Aside from that, she adapted her life story for the Lifetime biopic film The Gabby Douglas Story in 2014. Her life story has been revealed in her reality television series, Douglas Family Gold. This Olympic gold medalist also wrote a book about his journey to the Olympics.
