On December 16, 1967, Donovan Bailey was born. He went on to become a successful Jamaican-Canadian sprinter. He once held the 100-meter world record.
He was the first Canadian to break the 10-second barrier in the 100 m legitimately and won the gold medal at the Olympics in 1996.
