We don’t know about you, but we think female anime assassins are some of the most interesting characters out there. There’s something alluring about a stunning female assassin who can both steal your heart and rip it out of your chest. Over the years, there have been some fantastic examples of these characters, and we wanted to highlight a few of our favorites.
10. Akatsuki from Log Horizon
The story follows a group of characters who find themselves trapped inside a massive virtual reality MMORPG and must find a way to survive in their new environment. This series’ main party of adventurers is led by a man named Shiroe, who, along with his friends, must now navigate this new world.
Akatsuki demonstrates that not all anime assassins are tall and voluptuous; sometimes the most beautiful things come in small packages. Akatsuki is one of the most lethal assassins in the world, not only because of her razor-sharp blade but also because of her razor-sharp mouth, which can slash a man down as quickly as one of her sword slashes. Akatsuki is intelligent and resourceful, two qualities that should appeal to everyone.

9. Golden Darkness from To LOVE-Ru
Rito is the main character in this harem series. A mysterious girl from another world teleports in and lands right on top of him while he is taking a bath one night. The two become engaged in the ensuing chaos, which irritates the girl’s father, who happens to be one of the galaxy’s most powerful leaders.
Oh, Yami, you say you want to kill Rito, and you may even believe you want to kill him, but we all know you’ve turned soft on him. Golden Darkness is a highly skilled killer trapped inside an incredibly cute package, despite her origins on a planet far, far away. She’s lethal, but we can’t imagine how disappointed we’d be if she decided to make us her next target.
8. Seishirou Tsugumi from Nisekoi (Nisekoi: False Love)
Raku, the next yakuza heir, met a girl as a child whom he promised to reunite with and marry one day. Raku, who is now a teenager, keeps that promise close to his heart in the form of a closed locket he wears around his neck. Unfortunately for him, a rival gang is about to move into the area, and his life is about to be turned upside down.
To keep the peace, the leaders of the two gangs meet and devise a plan: Raku and the rival gang’s daughter must act as if they are in love. Could this raucous, brash girl be the same one Raku met as a kid?
What is it about assassins who can’t seem to keep their minds on their jobs and carry out the assassinations they’ve planned? She may not be the most skilled or focused assassin on this list, but she’s worth mentioning because she’s so… out of the box.
So many of the other people on this list are very feminine, but Tsugumi defies that stereotype, which makes her all the more appealing because she’s so different.
7. Isuke Inukai from Akuma no Riddle (Riddle Story of Devil)
A group of twelve assassins has gathered in a classroom at a girls’ boarding school to kill one target. Tokaku Azuma, one of these girls, has decided that she will protect this girl from the other girls. The assassins strike one by one, and Tokaku must defend himself against them all.
Isuke earns a spot on this list because she exudes coolness. Sure, she’s cute, and she, like so many others on this list, has a tragic past. Despite this, she’s just a cool person, which is attractive. Isuke is a stunning assassin who prefers to kill with her hands. You have to admire someone who is willing to get down and dirty.
6. Ein from Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom (Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~)
In the United States, there is a shadowy organization known as Inferno that employs Phantom, a near-invincible assassin. After witnessing Phantom (real name: Ein) taking out a target by accident, he is kidnapped and brainwashed into becoming her partner.

Ein is on this list because she is a blank slate who could be anyone or anything. She’s been trained to assume virtually any persona necessary to complete the task at hand. We can’t speak for the rest of you, but we think that’s a pretty appealing feature!
5. Leone from Akame ga Kill!
Tatsumi believes that after moving from the country to the city, he will join the army and help his village thrive once more. Instead, he discovers that the city is rotting away due to the prime minister’s tyranny. Tatsumi is recruited into Night Raid, a group of assassins tasked with cleansing the city of all evil influences.
While Akame may be the most popular assassin in the series, Leone is unquestionably the most attractive, thanks to her enormous… ahem, assets. Add in the fact that she has a tender, loving side that she rarely shows to others, and you have the makings of an incredible assassin capable of stealing the hearts of anyone.
4. July from Coyote Ragtime Show
Mister, a space outlaw, breaks out ten days before he is set to be released from prison in order to find his adopted daughter, Franka, and the treasure of Franka’s real father. It won’t be easy to find, though, because they’re being pursued by federal agents and a criminal gang.
This one may come as a surprise to you, especially if you’ve never heard of the series before. July is one of the twelve android goth loli assassin sisters in this space adventure, and she is by far the sexiest! Her smile, combined with the sidetail she wears, is enough to send shivers down our spines in a good way.
3. Mirelle Bouquet from Noir
Mirelle is a French assassin who receives a mysterious message from a young girl. After meeting the girl, they realize their pasts are linked in some way and form a partnership. They travel the world together, pursuing targets and seeking answers to their pasts.
Mirelle deserves to be on this list because she’s a no-nonsense woman who doesn’t have time for your frills. We all know that beneath that cool and tough exterior is a soft side that longs to be nurtured and is simultaneously adorable and beautiful.

2. from Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)
Class 3E is made up of misfits who are no longer welcome on the prestigious main campus. One day, a mysterious creature appears and warns them that unless they can assassinate him, he will blow up the Earth by the time they graduate. He will, however, be their new homeroom teacher in the meantime.
Sure, she’s a b*tch, but so what? Is it really such a bad quality to have? That bitchy side of hers is perfect for her current assignment and completely covers up her tragic past, so is it really such a bad quality to have? We don’t believe it either.
Not only that, but she is a self-assured woman who can tie up any man she wants, albeit to get closer to and/or kill her target. She’s a stunning blonde professional whom I wouldn’t mind assassinating.
1. Alphard from Canaan
Canaan is the name of a woman who has no qualms about annihilating targets without hesitation. She used to be friends with a girl named Maria, who now works as a photographer in China. Unfortunately, their reunion is not happy, as they are witnessing the unfolding of a plot to release a virus into the world.
So far, we’ve used a lot of adjectives to describe the girls on this list, but “evil” and “bad” are two that we’ve specifically avoided using. However, there are no other adjectives to use when describing this character.
You want a bad girl, an evil girl, a ruthless girl sometimes, and Alphard is all of those things and more. She’s more woman than most guys could handle, and that makes her the most appealing of the group.
