Todd Tucker recently turned 48, and his wife, Kandi Burruss, threw a huge party to commemorate the occasion.
Burruss, who was in charge of planning the big birthday event, invited numerous known people, including Cynthia Bailey of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Heavenly Kimes, and Quad Webb of Married to Medicine. Dr. Heavenly of Married to Medicine shared a series of Instagram photos from Todd Tucker birthday celebrations with Bailey, Webb, and others.
Burruss used Instagram to post a carousel of photos from the event after it was over. She thanked everyone who came to the party in the caption. The reality personality went over and beyond to show her love for her hubby by making him feel special.
How did the couple meet? Details About Their Relationship, Marriage, and Kids
Tucker was originally introduced to the Real Housewives of Atlanta star while filming the show’s fourth season in 2011. He was working behind the scenes as a producer, and they hit it off immediately.
They fell in love and were engaged in 2013, followed by a wedding a year later. Burruss called her wedding “one of the most memorable days of her life.”
Burruss was previously engaged to the late A.J. Jewell and already a mother to Riley, her then-10-year-old daughter with ex-boyfriend Russell Spencer of Block Entertainment, before marrying Tucker.
Tucker had a daughter as well. Ace Wells Tucker, the couple’s first child, was born in 2016. Wells, his middle name, was his late grandmother’s maiden name.
Difficult Birth Of Second Child
The couple welcomed their fourth child, Blaze Tucker, via surrogate in November 2019, and the whole event was covered in season 12 of RHOA.
On the broadcast, Burruss disclosed that her surrogate was expecting twins, but one of the embryos was lost. Burruss revealed during season 11 of the reality show that she and Tucker were attempting to conceive naturally but were concerned about what would happen to her due to her fertility issues.
After finding a possible surrogate through Burruss’ OBGYN, Married to Medicine’s Dr. Jackie Walters, the couple eventually opted on surrogacy. Shadina was the woman they ultimately chose. Burruss also talked about how difficult it was to make the decision and how difficult it was to let someone else carry her child.
Burruss was overjoyed at the prospect of having another kid but disappointed that she wouldn’t be able to physically experience all of the pregnancy milestones. The reality star, on the other hand, said it was a fascinating experience for her.
