Tim Cowlishaw became famous after spending almost his entire career as a sports writer and being successful at it, but little did he realize he had to make some difficult decisions in life to get to where he is now. Everyone experiences ups and downs in their lives, and Tim’s drinking habit nearly cost him his life.

Tim Cowlishaw is a sportswriter for The Dallas Morning News and a regular panelist on ESPN’s Around the Horn. Tim used to be the lead reporter for the ESPN2 racing show NASCAR Now. Currently, he and Steve Dennis co-host Dennis & Cowlishaw on KESN.

Relationship Status: Single?

Despite the fact that he married and had two children, one a daughter and the other a son, information about his wife is scarce. His wife’s name is Lori Cowlishaw, but according to his recent Twitter feed, he is currently separated from her. It is clear from the Twitter post he made that he is currently not with his wife and says,

“I’d do it if I had a wife.”

Despite the fact that he is divorced from his wife, Tim adores his children and is a devoted father. Tim ensures that his children receive a good education and never fails to congratulate them on their successful completion of high school and college. His other tweet, which was posted on May 14, 2014, demonstrates this.

“My daughter graduated from Mizzou this weekend, so can I say I’m happy for Bill Self that he got Andrew Wiggins?”

His struggle with alcohol led him to write his autobiography, appropriately titled ‘Drunk On Sports.’ Though not a self-help book for readers, it does share some of his experiences with alcoholism and how he eventually kicked the habit for good.
