The Third Season Of VH1 Reality TV Show ‘Cartel Crew’ Is Up And It’s All about Prioritizing Family!

Cartel Crew, a VH1 reality show, follows people who were once linked to Miami’s drug cartels. The film follows the children of organized crime bosses as they strive to establish a life for themselves outside of the drug trade.

The show first aired in January of this year, and two seasons have since been produced. Season 2 aired from October through December of this year. Season 3 premiered on VH1 on June 7, 2021, after an almost two-year layoff. On May 11, VH1 confirmed on their Facebook page that Cartel Crew would return for a third season. “La Familia above EVERYTHING,” they stated in the caption for their teaser, suggesting the season’s basis. Cartel Crew’s official Instagram page also posted a photo of the cast with the same statement.

Here’s a look at what the cast of Cartel Crew is up to in the forthcoming season.

Season 3 – Family Comes First

Season 3’s entire focus is family, as evidenced by the trailer. Michael Blanco, Kat ‘Tatu Baby’ Flores, Marie Ramirez De Arellano, Nicole and Michael Zavala, Stephanie Acevedo, Salomé Jackson, Dayana Castellanos, Eddie Soto, Ivette Saucedo, and Mike ‘Majix’ Yuen are among the cast members for this season. Blanco, the youngest son of Griselda Blanco, the “Cocaine Godmother,” is planning his wedding with his partner, De Arellano.

Since her father abandoned her, De Arellano has had no one but Blanco to call her own. However, there has been a rift between the two because he requested a prenuptial agreement from his partner. This season will follow Jackson as she grieves the loss of her sister, Gigi. Last year, Gigi was shot and died in Miami.

Soto has returned to Flores’ life after serving four years in federal prison on narcotics charges. Flores was over over heals about Soto six years ago, but he crushed her heart by cheating on her. She was left alone while pregnant with their son Deniro. Flores is giving Soto a second chance at co-parenting now that he has returned for permanently.

Acevedo, Flores’ best buddy, did not have a happy childhood. Acevedo’s drug-dealing father cheated on her mother on a regular basis, and she doesn’t want history to repeat itself with her best friend.

Nicole and Michael Zavala, twins, are battling to juggle their lives, families, and relationships this season. Nicole is depressed as a result of her miscarriage and her grandfather’s passing. Michael has always been there for her, even opening his home to her while putting his own life on hold. Michael is juggling his connection with his boyfriend and his twin sister’s mental health at the same time.

Castellanos is attempting to repair her ties with her kids. The father of her children and her girlfriend Isis, with whom she has been in a relationship, are both in prison on drug charges. The children of Castellanos blame their mother for everything that has gone wrong in their lives.

Yuen, like Castellanos, is attempting to repair his relationship with his son. He was in a facility for four years. He wants to concentrate on his child and job now that he has returned.

Cartel Crew, produced by Big Fish Entertainment, premieres new episodes on VH1 every Monday at 9/8c.
