Teddi Mellencamp, best known for her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was the first person evicted from Celebrity Big Brother’s third season.
However, being removed from the show allowed her to return to her own home, where Teddi Mellencamp adoring husband, Edwin Arroyave, and their two children awaited her return.
In July 2021, the husband and wife will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary.
Teddi Mellencamp was the first to be kicked off the show.
Teddi was evicted from the show during the season’s third episode, which aired on February 4, 2022.
The following day, the reality star shared a sweet letter from her family, which she would have received if she had won the in-game Head of Household next week.
“But because I wasn’t given the opportunity, I’ll just continue to run my own household,” she explained.
She went on to mock the reality show she’d just been voted off, writing:
Maybe I’ll cuddle up in my comfy bed with the kids and tell them stories about how to play games with your heart and integrity.
Aside from the not-so-subtle dig, she admitted that her time on the reality show had been enjoyable.
Teddi Mellencamp’s Husband and Children Handwrote Her Letters
Her husband and children had been away from Teddi for about 18 days and had written letters to the family’s matriarch.
Both of her children had written letters detailing their accomplishments while their mother was away.
Teddi had apparently signed Slate up for a mindfulness class before she left, and the youngster was also getting better at math.
Teddi’s eldest daughter also expressed excitement about her upcoming horse show.
The adorable daughter stated that she would record everything so she could watch it with Teddi when they were together again.
The caring son expressed his excitement for his upcoming football game before informing his mother that he had been reading every single day that she was away.
Cruz was researching the American Bison for his school project, which he claimed was the largest mammal in North America.
While he admitted that school was a lot of fun, he found that reading on his own was even more enjoyable.
Both children wrote that they missed their mothers and couldn’t wait to write more letters to her.
In contrast to the children, the husband’s letter was all about appreciation and motivation. He’d written down how much he loved his wife and how grateful he was to have her in his life.
Only later did he reveal that he had everything under control at home and was holding down the fort while she was away filming for the show.
Edwin Arroyave is Teddi Mellencamp’s husband.
According to his website, Arroyave is the CEO and Founder of Skyline Security Management, one of the largest authorized Brinks Home Security dealers.
Arroyave was born in Colombia but moved to the United States when he was a child. He’s been in Los Angeles since then.
He was forced to take financial responsibility for his family at a young age and began working remotely as a telemarketer while still in high school at the age of 15.
His company, which he founded with a partner in 1999, is one of the top 35 minority-owned businesses in Los Angeles.
