Relationship Status
Taya and Chris’s romance in the film was Taya’s romance with Chris. Taya had drunk two scotches on the rocks when they met at a bar. Taya was so inebriated when they first met that she became ill. Chris, it turns out, held her hair back when she puked.
That’s how their relationship got off to a good start. The couple’s relationship was solid, but Chris was set to be deployed and only had a few days of leave from military training.
Because the pair was so in love, they decided to exchange wedding vows. Taya and Kyle married just a few days before they relocated thousands of miles away.
They clung to each other through their long-distance marital relationship, and they were soon blessed with a family. Taya gave birth to their two children, one boy, and one girl, while Chris was on tour.
Their relationship deteriorated quickly, and they were on the point of divorce. Chris, on the other hand, chose his family and came home, refusing to reenlist.
They were a happy family until Chris and his friend Chad Littlefield were fatally shot on a Texas shooting range. Eddie Ray Routh, a former Marine who was convicted of capital murder and condemned to life in prison, was the assailant.
Taya had lost the love of her life, but she refused to give up, and she now raised her two children on her own. But has she ever thought of dating someone else?
Current Relationship Status – Married?
Taya, a FOX Channel correspondent and the devoted wife of the late Chris Kyle, would never consider having another guy in her life. Her heart, she believed, would not just fall in love with someone else.
She opened up to PEOPLE in May 2015, admitting her anxieties about starting a new romance. She revealed that he felt betrayed by her late husband and that she would not give a relationship another opportunity. She also mentioned how Chris’s friend urged her to fall in love again, adding,
“That he’ll die and his wife will never let herself be loved again.”
Even though Chris had previously addressed her moving on with another man, the prospect of it broke Taya’s heart. She still loves him and considers herself wedded to him. She was adamant about saying,
“Still, the idea of ‘moving on’ breaks my heart. I still love him. I still feel married to him.”
She does not appear to want to remarry and appears to be focused on raising her two children and working. She is, nevertheless, still curious about what the future holds for her.
