Siohvaughn Funches, a public speaker, and social worker is the founder and executive director of A Woman’s Worth Foundation, a non-profit organization. Her foundation assists women and children who have been victims of domestic violence.

Previously, Siohvaughn Funches was married to NBA player Dwayne Wade. During their high school years at Harold L. Richards High School in Illinois, the two began dating.
Her spouse joined Marquette University in 2002, and the two married on May 18th of that year.
However, the marriage barely lasted a few years before Dwyane filed for divorce in late 2006. As a result, the two began living apart in 2007 and divorced on June 25, 2010.
Children
Siohvaughn is the father of two children, a son, and a daughter. Her son, Zaire, was born in 2002, and her daughter, Zaya, was born in 2007.

Zaira, Siohvaughn’s daughter, has been open about her gender identity since 2018. She came to terms with her sexuality that year, when she was 11 years old, by coming out to her family members.
Despite the fact that she was born a man, Zaira always referred to herself as “she.”
Zaira’s sexual orientation became known to the public in February 2020. During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that year, Dwayne revealed she was transsexual.
Career
Siohvaugh is a published author, having written novels such as The True Story for God’s Glory and You Gotta Let God Finish! The author’s writings are centered on her Christian beliefs and make subtle references to her then-husband Dwayne Wade.
She currently runs her podcast, Faith Comes By Hearing, which debuted in 2019. She digs into an intimate look at her personal life and offers advice to listeners via the platform. She has stated that the content was created in order to “inspire the world at large and alter people’s lives, marriages, and families.”
Education
Siohvaugh holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling. She also holds a Juris Doctorate and a degree in Theology from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
Siblings and Parents
Siohvaughn Funches was born to Frank and Darlene Funches (mother). Her parents divorced when she was three years old. Her sister, Garrica LeAnna Woods, is also a member of her family.
