Everybody wishes to have someone to look forward to at the end of a long day at work. Perhaps a wife.
And at some point in life, everyone desires a stable relationship and wishes to settle down in order to enjoy the status of a married man with a wife and a couple of children, or a single child.
Shemar Moore revealed his wish to marry a woman with whom he could share a marital life and children. However, has he found a woman to marry, or is the hunt still ongoing? Let us ascertain that.
Shemar Moore fueled gay rumors in March 2016 after he released a Snapchat photo of himself hanging out with a fan in an LGBTQ bar. Later that year, in response to speculation about his homosexuality, he uploaded a shirtless selfie to Instagram with the smackdown caption,
Awwwwwww sh*t…. Let the controversy begin!!! I love him.. I hate him.. He’s straight.. He’s gay… He’s sweet.. He’s arrogant… Well, I would just like to say I LOVE women and life and people!!! I do not discriminate or allow people to feel small…. PERIOD!!!
In a December 2016 interview, Shemar discussed his rumored homosexuality, stating,
‘I just think it’s all silly. If you’re gay, you’re gay. I’m not, and I know that and I’m very comfortable with who I am and I love women.”
Shemar expressed gratitude for his LGBT fans, saying,
‘I have fans that are gay, men that come up to me, and they’re inspired by me, or they like me as an entertainer, and when they want to give me a hug or take pictures with me, what, am I supposed to not put my arm around them or stand next to them, and if the man next to me in the picture is gay, that makes me gay? That’s just simpleminded ignorance, and I don’t play that.
According to reports, the actor, who now has a net worth of $12 million, has clarified that he is not gay. And, like every male, he wishes to marry and have a family with a wife and children.
Old And New Relationships
Shemar Moore appeared on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Life” in December 2016 for an interview with Phaedra Parks.
Shemar and Phaedra were caught indulging in PDA during the interview, as Shemar nuzzled her neck in response to a question about the type of men Phaedra was interested in. In response to the inquiry, Phaedra stated,
“Well I found him, oh lord! I’m looking no further, he’s right here beside me.”
On the other hand, Shemar reacted unusually to Phaedra.
Andy Cohen, the show’s surprised host, stated,
“Once you gone light skinned you ain’t goin’ back wherever you was.”
Shemar also stated, following the surprise,
“Really – that’s what it is?”
“Oh my god, I don’t know what’s going on.”
Shemar and Phaedra’s closeness astounded everyone, and everyone was curious about the unrecognized relationship.
Intriguingly, Phaedra was asked in an interview on 24 April 2017 if she had resumed dating, to which she responded,
“I am not, well, you hooked me up with somebody and we chat from now and then,”
Then a clip from the show “Watch What Happens Life” was broadcast, featuring Phaedra and Shemar engaging in some PDA. When she was asked if she would date him, she replied suspiciously,
“We’ll see…”
Shemar and Phaedra have not come out as girlfriend and boyfriend. Shemar seemed eager in his interview to marry and share married life with his children. Is Phaedra, the woman with whom Shemar will marry, similarly situated? The answer, of course, lies with Shemar and Phaedra.
Unfortunately, Phaedra is not that person!
Shemar clarified that he met Phaedra only once.
“This thing, it’s crazy to me, I just woke up, like last week and everybody’s like, ‘Phaedra, Phaedra, Phaedra,'” he said. “And look, I met Phaedra doing a nighttime talk show with Andy Cohen and Andy Cohen does this thing late at night and he likes to get you to drink. And so you’re loose and you have fun on his show. So I just decided to have a good time and she was such a good sport and we played and we flirted and we got our little kissy face on. And then that went viral and that’s the first and the last time that I’ve ever seen or met Phaedra.”
Sherman came out as a surprise at the 2018 Grammy Awards, putting a stop to the non-existent relationship and LGBT rumors.
He walked the red carpet alongside Quantico actress Anabelle Acosta, exposing their romance. When asked how they met, Sherman revealed that he sent an email with the subject line ‘Poetry in my fingertips!’ to which Anabelle responded a few days later as,
“Mr. Shemar Moore, I hear you’ve been looking for me. Watch yourself!”
Sherman, who desired marriage, noted that the couple’s status was already a given “A good story is a wonderful story regardless of how it ends. It is already an excellent narrative!”.
As the spontaneity set in, it was unclear whether the couple desired to be together.
Moore, on the other hand, informed Steve Harvey that Anabelle desired to take things slowly and focus on friendship. Following this, there has been no mention of the couple, and they have not attended any events together.
Taking things gently, however, did not alter the direction of their relationship. After only a few months together, the pair was unable to allure one another. Their relationship was never fully understood.
Anabelle is currently dating Dominican actor Algenis Perez Soto. Their romance made headlines for the first time in January 2019, when Shemar and Anabelle’s relationship was already presumed to be over.
Dating Life
As a result of his lack of success with the stunning Quantico actress, Shemar’s dating prospects are slim. Although a new beauty has not been spotted with the actor, Shemar has expressed interest in a new individual.
Not afraid to express his feelings, the 49-year-old stud proclaimed his love for Brigitte Nielsen on the talk show The Talk. The pair then proceeded to enjoy not one, but two kisses.
After confessing his crush on Brigitte, the stunning woman swooped in for a hug when Shemar urged her to pursue his lips. Following another kiss, both were quite reddened and content.
Regrettably, this is not the start of something new for Brigitte, as she is a happily married woman.\
