Shawn Fonteno, an American actor and rapper, is best known for voicing and acting as Franklin Clinton in the video game Grand Theft Auto V. Motion capture technology was used to record his performance in Grand Theft Auto V.

Shawn Darnell Fonteno was born in South Los Angeles, California on April 8, 1968. He was, however, raised in Watts, Los Angeles. He is 50 years old and stands 6 feet tall (1.83 meters).
Shawn was involved in several gang activities before embarking on his career; he even sold drugs. Everything his character Franklin did in GTA V was similar to what Shawn did in his early adolescence. A near-fatal shooting, however, inspired him to pursue a career in acting and music.
He was browsing music and movies when a friend, DJ Pooh, asked him to assist with Rockstar Games. DJ Pooh is a Grand Theft Auto V consultant and GTA San Andreas co-producer. Shawn initially went out and assisted other actors competing for the role of Franklin. However, he eventually landed a role of his own; his acting abilities were a little shaky at first.

The process is extremely complex. It’s just conditioning yourself to imagine what’s going on in a square room – and you have to imagine it’s a living room, and you have to close your eyes and act in a real living room.
Before GTA, Shawn appeared in films such as Dead Homiez (1996), Three Strikes (2000), and Wash. (2001). He was also a member of the rap group Kam&Solo, with whom he released a few songs. Where I Come From, released in 1999, was one of the well-known songs.
Shawn’s net worth is in the millions as a result of his contributions to the industry as an actor and rapper.
Shawn Fonteno: Wife and Children
Shawn is a devoted husband to his beautiful wife and the proud father of his only child, Bria. The word “proud” doesn’t even begin to describe how much he admires his daughter. He keeps his followers up to date on everything his daughter accomplishes, from getting into university to graduating.
And his daughter, who works as a news anchor for Arizona Cat’s Eye, has continued to make him proud. Shawn is equally devoted to his wife. In fact, he once wished his wife a happy birthday on Twitter and promised to get her anything she desired.
Shawn’s family consists of more than just his wife and daughter. He is also Young Maylay’s cousin, who played Carl Johnson in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. His mother passed away in October of 2017.
