Sean Lock, a comedian, died on August 16, 2021, and is survived by his wife, Anoushka Nara Giltsoff, and their three children, two daughters and a son.
Sean Lock, on the other hand, always chose to keep his family life with his wife and children out of the spotlight. As a result, most of his personal information, including his wedding date, is kept private.
But he didn’t shy away from praising them, especially his longtime partner, whenever he felt the need to talk about them.
“Sean was also a much-loved husband and father to three children. Sean will be sorely missed by all that knew him. “We respectfully request that the privacy of his family and children be respected at this difficult time,” his agent said after his death.
Sean Lock Applauded His Wife’s Work
In one of his previous interviews [via Mirror UK], Lock discussed his wife and how she made sure their children were safe whenever they were outside.
He stated that he had skin cancer in his twenties and that she did not want her children to go through the same experience.
“My partner Anoushka is fantastic at sun protection, and if it’s hot, she makes sure she puts SPF50 cream on the kids before they leave the house,” he explained.
Similarly, in an interview with TimeOut in 2010, he stated that he and his wife had discovered the ideal work-life balance for themselves and their family.
According to Lock, the 8 Out of 10 Cats star and his wife frequently argued after he returned home from work.
The two allegedly got into that situation because she didn’t realize the difficulties of his job, and he also took her work for granted.
“Recently, my wife told me that the best thing to do when you return is just shut the [expletive] up. Nothing should be said. Avoid getting involved. “Know your position,” he remembered his wife telling him.
“You’re the lowest in the family; you’re right behind the baby on the list of important things,” he continued. Stay put. And, strangely enough, it worked.”
Lock bequeathed millions to his family
Lock was recognized as one of the gifted comedians who made a fortune from his profession.
As a family man, he was also aware of the importance of leaving a healthy bank balance for his wife and children. He realized this after having lung cancer for a long time.
Furthermore, he had previously recovered completely from skin cancer, but he died as a result of his secret battle with lung cancer.
However, according to Dailymail, the comedian left his family a fortune worth more than $4 million.
According to financial records filed under his company, Sean Lock Limited, he had cash reserves of just over $1 million and total assets of more than $3.5 million, including $500,000 in the property.
According to the report, the comedian earned more than $1 million in 2019 from his various TV and stage appearances. He allegedly took home about a quarter of that amount after taxes.
