Scott Conant Thanks Wife & Family For Success; Divorce Rumors – Bad Recipe

Scott Conant, a well-known chef, has long savored the sweet taste of accomplishment. His formula for success was simple: a happy, loving, and affectionate family.

When it comes to Italian cuisine, the Connecticut native is the master and champion. Scott Conant owns a number of well-known restaurants in the United States. Scarpetta, his restaurant, was named one of America’s Best New Restaurants in 2008.

In 2015, he won the American reality culinary show Chopped and was voted Best New Chef by Food & Wine Magazine in 2004. Scott also owns Cellaio, a restaurant at the Resorts World Catskills in New York.

Career

Chef de cuisine, restaurateur, and author Scott began his professional career as an intern at San Domenico, a well-known New York City restaurant.

After that, he spent a year at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany, mastering the craft of pastry. He went back to San Domenico and got a job as a sous chef.

In 1995, he began his restaurant career as a cook at Manhattan’s Il Toscanaccio restaurant. He later went on to become the executive chef of New York City’s City Eatery.

His enthusiasm for Italian cuisine grabbed the attention of New Yorkers, and in 2000, he received a two-star rating from The New York Times. After two years, Scott founded L’Impero, his own restaurant in Tudor City.

In 2008, the renowned chef made a professional breakthrough when he established Scarpetta, an Italian restaurant in Manhattan, New York. In July 2010, he debuted his television show 24 Hour Restaurant Battle.

Aside from that, he has appeared on shows and competitions such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, Cooks Vs. Cons, and others.
From 2010 to 2018, he opened a number of restaurants in various places, including D.O.C.G Enoteca (2010), Impero Steak (2014), and the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa, which he unveiled in 2018.

Reunites With Friend Aaron Sanchez; Four-Course Dinner

Scott Conant brought his old friend Aaron Sanchez, who competes on Masterchef, into the kitchen of his restaurant, Masso Osteria, to work on a special four-course evening in November 2018, following the launch of his restaurant Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa.

Scott mentioned his wish to spend time with him and cook with him when they were reunited. Sanchez made it clear that he was looking forward to entering Scott’s kitchen. And, as expected, the two ended up having a lovely night together on November 13th thanks to their exaggerated cooking talents.

Conant started the evening with a signature cocktail and a variety of canapes, followed by Sanchez, who served the first and third dishes. The second course and dessert were handled by Conant.

Conant’s meals, as predicted, showcased his Italian heritage, with Sanchez adding a smattering of Mexican spices.

Relationship Status

Scott married Meltem Bozkurt, a pet-accessory magnate, in Turkey in 2007, shortly after his divorce from Chris, his professional partner.

Ayla Sophia Reina, born on February 8, 2010, and Karya Eva Maria, born on September 19, 2012, are the couple’s two daughters.

Scott has ample support from both his family and his wife, Meltem Bozkurt’s family. In 2015, he paid a visit to Meltem’s relatives in Turkey. Her mother taught Scott how to prepare fish in the Turkish style.

They meet together every year in the Aegean resort district of white villas to savor Scott’s grilled fish. His deep attachment with his family has proven his divorce rumors, which arose as a result of his prior split with his business partner, to be a terrible recipe.
