Saweetie shot down any rumors of a reconciliation with her ex-boyfriend Quavious Keyate Marshall, better known by his stage as Quavo. According to Hollywood Life, she and Quavo had been “quietly spending time together in New York” on August 23, 2021.
According to the story, Quavo had missed the ‘Icy Girl’ rapper since their breakup, according to a music insider. According to reports, he had been requesting to see her, and the two hung out in New York because they were both there at the same time. Fans and followers speculated if the former couple had reunited and gotten back together as soon as the article hit the internet. Saweetie, on the other hand, stepped forward to clarify her relationship with her former boyfriend. The 28-year-old rushed to Twitter to claim that their reunion narrative was a fake. She responded quickly, stating that the news was an example of a Pinocchio piece.

“Anyways, back to this #saweetiemeal,” she said, alluding to her recent endorsement contract with McDonald’s. In August 2021, the Santa Clara native made history as the first female musician to partner with McDonald’s for its celebrity menu package.
A time-limited Big Mac, medium fries, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium Sprite, Tangy BBQ Sauce, and Saweetie ‘N Sour sauce were among the items on her celebrity menu. Saweetie’s update on her McDonald’s collaboration and speculations of reconciliation came only weeks after Dime Racks announced a secret hook-up with Quavo. The revelation served as proof of his adultery, which led to the end of his relationship with Saweetie.
Why did Saweetie and Quavo Breakup?
Quavo and Saweetie began dating in 2018, shortly after the latter appeared in her Instagram DMs. They remained together for over three years. The couple then abruptly unfollowed one other on social media in March 2021. Their actions sparked rumors about their breakup and discussions about it.
On March 19, 2021, Saweetie finally spoke up about the rumor in a Twitter post. “I’m single,” she declared after confirming her breakup with Quavo. However, it was not the news of the breakup that surprised everyone. Saweetie, on the other hand, hinted at Quavo’s adultery by saying she had been through too much treachery and pain behind the scenes.
“Presents don’t heal hurts, and love isn’t real when closeness is given to other women,” she continued. Quavo responded to the tweets without name Saweetie just moments after she made her shocking announcement.
He indicated that he did not want to put his personal life on display, but added, “I know you want to turn this into a show, so I’ll play my part just this once.” There were no misleading tales, the 30-year-old added. Then, in a second tweet, Quavo expressed his dissatisfaction with Saweetie. The Georgia native went on to say, “You’re not the woman I imagined you to be. I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.”
Saweetie retweeted his post and wrote, “Take care,” without adding to the drama.
