Rock Legend Axl Rose Is 60 Now And Living the Dream Right Now With Guns N’ Roses!

Axl Rose has had a lot of ups and downs in his life. His personal and professional lives have been severely harmed, particularly during the 1990s.

Rose, on the other hand, is getting back to what he does best: producing music and entertaining people. The Guns N’ Roses frontman is in excellent shape for a man in his early 60s.

Axl Rose is now 60 years old and still going strong

Rose was born on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, as William Bruce Rose Jr. In 2022, he will be 60 years old. Despite the fact that he turned a significant age, he made no mention of his birthday. On Duff McKagan’s birthday, February 5, he tweeted.

On the birthday tweet, he stated, “Happy birthday Duff n’ Del!!!”

Even though he didn’t make any birthday posts, everyone who cared about him did. In a recent concert, Guns N’ Roses’ official Instagram posted a video of him belting out the band’s “Paradise City.”

“It’s the one and only! Show Axl Rose some love on his birthday, “the article stated. Fans from all over the world left wishes in the comment box.

Rose, together with original Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, and Steven Adler, created Guns N’ Roses in 1985. They were hugely successful barely two years into their hard rock career. Between 1987 and 1989, their first two albums brought them enormous success. However, as 1990 approached, things began to deteriorate.

Erin Everly, his first and only wife, he met in 1986. Their marriage was canceled in 1991 owing to physical and emotional abuse, and they were separated by 1990. There was a ruckus in the band. Adler was sacked for his drug use, but was later reinstated. This carried on for a long time.

By the beginning of the twenty-first century, all of the original band members had left save Rose, leaving him as the lone original band member.

‘Sympathy for the Devil,’ released in 1994, was the band’s final single with McKagan on bass and Slash on lead guitar until recently.

Rose, the band’s sole original member at the time, spoke out in 2000 about why he thought the band had broken up.

“We stayed together because of our poverty. That’s how Guns N’ Roses came to be. Guns N’ Roses become like the old Stones or anything when that changed “He revealed this to the Rolling Stones.

He also compared the band to a car, claiming that if there were too many drivers in one vehicle, it would inevitably go “over the cliff.” A reunion of the original band members looked improbable at this stage. And it stayed like way for many more years.

In 2009, Rose told The Guardian that he or Slash would die before the band reunited

In 2014, though, the impossible began to take shape. He began by reconnecting with McKagan. The bassist got along swimmingly with the new band members. Then Slash showed up.

As a result, Guns N’ Roses accomplished a previously unimaginable reunion in 2016. Stradlin and Adler were not present, thus it wasn’t a total reunion. They were the headliners at Coachella 2016, and Rose is now on the road and recording music.

The band released ‘Absurd,’ their first new song since 2008, on August 6, 2021. ‘Hard Skool’ was released on September 24.

Rose has also recently gone on tour with the band; their Not in This Lifetime… tour began in 2020, and they are scheduled to perform throughout North and South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in 2022.
