Grace and Robert De Niro’s first child

Robert De Niro once received a lot of flak for a provocative film called Vaxxed, which he thought ‘everyone should see.’ In 2016, he revealed that his kid, Elliot, was autistic after withdrawing the film from the Tribeca Film Festival.
Although Robert had kept his personal life private, he had hinted at the possibility of having a differently-abled child before becoming exclusive about Elliot.
According to People, Robert De Niro revealed that he and his ex-wife, Grace, had a child with autism and that they believe it is critical to publicly address and study all causes of autism. He further stated that after receiving a measles vaccination, his son, Elliot, ‘transformed overnight.’
Despite the fact that Elliot De Niro’s father freely discussed his autism in 2016, he has previously been linked to an autistic film. Furthermore, he argued, people must confront what they believe is a solved problem. Elliot De Niro, Robert De Niro’s autistic son, is irrepressible. Battle for Custody
Robert De Niro and Grace Hightower, Elliot De Niro’s parents, are no longer married after the Taxi Driver star filed for divorce anonymously in 2018. This was not, however, their first breakup.
Elliot’s mother worked as a hostess at Mr. Chow, where the former couple met. The ancient couple’s romance grew with time, and they remained in love for a decade. The couple married on June 17, 1997, and Elliot was born a year later.
Unfortunately, their marriage was short-lived, and Elliot De Niro’s father, Robert, filed for divorce in August 1999, just two years after they married. As they battled for custody of their son, Elliott, De Niro’s estranged wife insisted that he be drug tested.
Grace De Niro stated that Robert’s lifestyle was too extravagant for her three-year-old son, but De Niro’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, refuted the claims. Stan argued that Robert was not a heavy drinker and that drug tests were not required.
According to the Guardian, Robert tossed the coin in Hightower’s favor, arguing she had a violent temper and should not be allowed to keep custody of their child. In 2004, the couple reconciled and repeated their vows, only to divorce a year later.
Elliot De Niro’s Meaning
Elliot is an English name that means “The Lord Is My God.”
