Rita Panahi: Biography and Family Life
Rita Panahi was born on March 2, 1976, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, making her 42 years old. While gushing about her parents, she mentioned that her mother was a midwife and her father was an Iranian agricultural engineer.
Rita and her family returned to Iran when she was a child, living on the coast before relocating to Tehran in 1979. During the Iranian Revolution, her mother worked for a hospital affiliated with the Shah.
Rita’s Muslim family was targeted by the repressive Islamic regime, but they were accepted as refugees by Australia in 1984. As a result, they lived in Melbourne with no money or assets.
Rita, who knew only two words of English, began attending a local primary school when she was eight years old. She began working in banks after finishing her studies at Monash University, but she did not complete her Bachelor of Business Finance degree.
Instead, she joined Australian Young Labor and worked on the 1996 election campaign as a volunteer. She worked as a personal banker at Colonial Mutual and was the company’s youngest branch manager.

Rita started out writing for the daily newspaper mX. She did, however, become a regular guest on the AM sports radio station SEN in 2007.
Rita began working for the Herald Sun, a publication of the Herald and Weekly Times, in September 2007. (HWT).
Rita also appears on Sky News and Sunrise on the Seven Network on a regular basis. She also works as a radio commentator for 3AW and 2GB.
Michael Kroger encouraged Rita to run for Liberal Party pre-selection in the Victorian state electorate of Frankston in 2017. In 2018, she began hosting The Friday Show on Sky News Live.
Rita’s journalism career takes her to places where she has to deal with a variety of controversies.
One of them was her slam of Australian basketballer Ben Simmons in June 2019.
Rita publicly chastised Ben for making false claims about racism. Ben claimed that racial profiling prevented him from entering Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
The real reason for his denial of entry was his wearing of camouflage pants, which were not permitted in the casino.
Rita claims that there are genuine racist incidents in Australia. However, these types of forgeries are destroying the chances of the genuine ones receiving adequate recognition.
