Joanna Levesque, better known by her stage as JoJo, was out enjoying thanksgiving dinner with her family, boyfriend, and his family.
This marks the first time the lovely couple has officially brought their families together for a celebration, and fans couldn’t be more pleased for their relationship which seems to be becoming stronger by the day.
JoJo & Dexter Darden’s Family Thanksgiving Dinner
On Thursday, November 25, 2021, the songstress came to her Instagram to share a series of photographs emphasizing her thanksgiving celebrations. The post’s cover picture featured JoJo’s boyfriend, actor Dexter Darden, planting a sweet peck on her cheek as she beamed a smile for the camera.
The singer was outfitted in a light gray top contrasted against her orange long-skirt. Also, her golden pumps were on full display. As for her lover, he dressed in a flannel shirt over a white t-shirt, complete with a pair of black slacks and cowboy boots.
The photographs that followed saw the two families gathering together to celebrate the festival of thankfulness. Everyone was all smiles as the doting lovebirds united the two families into a single family.
JoJo was quick to express her best wishes to her followers as her captions relayed the excitement from their families to their fans. Later, the diva tweeted a series of stories providing her followers an update on how the night was going. She posted clips from after the celebrations, where her family could be seen interacting with his.
JoJo Shared a Video of Dexter Darden
This was not the first time that JoJo has showcased her partner on Instagram, though. Back in June 2020, JoJo tweeted a video of Darden (via The Things) performing a poem against racial injustice.
The poem highlighted how unjust acts originated from being silent, giving JoJo the right framework to speak up. The clip saw the Maze Runner star examine the consequences of a white person who thinks themselves an ally to the black community but eventually refuses to speak up for them when they are slain.
The poem was especially poignant as it presented the entire country as in upheaval following the unjust end that George Floyd suffered. The post seems to have been taken down, though.
JoJo Frequents Dexter Darden’s Instagram
Since the two started dating, in recent months, fans have been seeing more of JoJo on Darden’s Instagram profile too. On October 30, 2021, the actor released a carousel of images bringing followers on a fun night at Broadway. Apparently, Darden and JoJo were out in New York to attend a TINA The Musical show on Broadway with his girlfriend and a bunch of buddies.

The two chose matching black attire for the night. Jojo had a leather long coat combined with black tights with white embellishments. Her choice of footwear for the night was matching black boots.
Standing tall and proud behind her was Darden with a black jacket over a black sweater and a pair of black jeans. He accented his appearance with a blue checkered scarf.
