You Had Me at Aloha, starring A Simple Curve’s Pascale Hutton, will be released in theaters on June 5, 2021.

You Had Me At Aloha is not the only project on which the two have collaborated. Previously, the on-screen couples collaborated on the landmark drama series When Calls The Heart, as well as two landmark films, The Perfect Bride and its sequel, The Perfect Bride: Wedding Bells.
Hutton told Southern Living that the idea for the new film occurred to her while she was drinking coffee. She recounted the incident and added that she wanted to do something new and different than what she typically portrays, while Smith proposed portraying the polar opposite of Hutton’s character.
The film stars Hutton as Paige, a producer for a travel television show, and Smith as Ben, a host who is known for taking his adventures too seriously. The story depicts their opposing personalities coming together and forming a perfect bond.
