On-Reel Gay Romany Malco Wife Rift | Reveals His Current Relationship Status

Romany Malco, a 49-year-old American actor/comedian best known for the Showtime drama Weeds, has had a colorful life on and off the screen.

Nobody can deny that life in Brooklyn is just as interesting as the lives of the bigger stars in the entertainment industry, from being married to a celebrity wife to facing gay allegations.

Nothing encapsulates his colorful life more than his Twitter handle, which has become an outlet for him to vent about his inner turmoil over the years.

Gay Rumors During Ex-Divorce Wife’s

The voice actor for Opposite Attract has used the social media platform to keep his fans up to date on his personal life.
Romany opened up about his experiences as a married man on Twitter after his divorce from Taryn Dhaka after two years of marriage. He wrote in a resentful tone:

“No, I’m not married anymore. I just wanted to see what it was like. It was so cool. I’d do it more if it weren’t so damn expensive!”

Dhaka, his ex-wife, is best known for being the body double for actress Jessica Alba. In 2007, the ex-flames met on the set of the film The Love Guru. They married in 2008 after dating for a year, only to divorce two years later in 2010.
Despite the fact that his marriage to his ex-wife had ended in divorce two years prior, Romany sounded bitter when he sent out a tweet on June 27, 2012, that read:

“Was married once. It made me younger. But divorce took 20 years off my life.”

The 49-year-old Weeds actor has long been accused of being gay, which is something to be bitter about. His failed marriage to actress-wife heightened the intensity of the gay allegations.

In his “about me” section, he addresses the gay allegations with the following quote:

“Just because my characters were gay in both “Blades of Glory” (opposite Will Ferrell) and “A Little Bit of Heaven” (opposite Kate Hudson), does not mean that I am gay in real life.”

In a sarcastic tone, the Weeds star concludes his statement by claiming that he’s “still straight.” He did, however, claim that he could be gay for $90 million.

Romany’s Relationship Status: Married?

Romany was romantically linked with a married woman shortly after coming out as a gay man.

The actor from Think Like A Man Too was once linked to actress Meagan Good. His rumored romance with Meagan created so much buzz that he had to respond with a tweet to quell the rumors.

Above all else in the tweet, his fans were taken aback by his claims of being single. He expressed happiness in finding a spiritual girlfriend less than a year ago, in June of 2014, while speaking with Essence Magazine. He said to Essence:

“The last thing that reminded me to be grateful is… my girlfriend makes us pray together every night before we go to sleep.”

Even after an acrimonious divorce and an even more acrimonious breakup from a – what can only be assumed to be – fantastic girlfriend, the 49-year-old Brooklyn native appears to be more resilient than ever.

Romany, who has an unbreakable spirit, should be able to track down the elusive one in no time.

Other People’s Success: He’s Married To His Acting Career

Currently, the 40-year-old Virgin actor would rather concentrate on his acting career than seek companionship with a potential wife.

Nobody in the entertainment industry appears to be working as hard as Romany. In September alone, he will appear in two projects: a film and a television series. In Universal Pictures’ film Night School, the 49-year-old Brooklyn native will star alongside Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Taran Killam, Rob Riggle, and Ben Schwartz.

On September 28, 2018, Night School will be released in theaters. Similarly, in the upcoming ABC drama A Million Little Things, he will play the character Rome. Claire Fallon of the Huffington Post describes the show as follows:

“This show centers on four friends who met when trapped in an elevator together a decade ago and discovered they were all Boston Bruins fans. Their shared fandom and season tickets have kept them together ever since. That is, until Jon kills himself, leaving his friends and family reeling.”

Along with Romany, actors Ron Livingston, James Roday, and David Giuntoli round out the quartet of the aforementioned group of friends. According to rumors, ABC’s A Million Little Things, which premieres on September 26 at 9 a.m., is the answer to NBC’s hit family drama This Is Us.
