Nic Kerdile began playing ice hockey at the age of six and continued to study and practice the sport throughout his life. With a Los Angeles minor ice hockey team, he competed in the 2007 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He was a two-year member of the Wisconsin Badgers’ NCAA Division I ice hockey team.
