Netflix Romance Flick ‘The Last Letter from Your Lover’ Is Similar to a True Story!

On July 23, 2021, Netflix premiered the film The Last Letter from Your Lover, starring Felicity Jones, Callum Turner, and Shailene Woodley, in select areas.

The film takes place in London in two historical periods: the 1960s and the present day. The plot revolves around modern-day journalist Ellie Haworth (Jones), who discovers a cache of 1960s love letters.

She sets out to identify the people behind those letters, who happen to be Jennifer Stirling (Woodley) and Anthony O’Hare, in order to solve the hidden love affair (Turne). When the British romance drama was released, Forbes’ Sheena Scott called it “an everlasting love story.”

Despite the fact that the film was written by Nick Payne and Esta Spalding, directed by Augustine Frizzell, and is based on JoJo Moyes’ 2012 novel of the same name, many viewers are searching for answers to questions like “Is The Last Letter From Your Lover based on a true story?” to see if the story is based on a true story.
