She is well-known for her outstanding abilities on the vault and the floor. Skinner has been competing in World Championships for the United States since 2012, and she has earned several awards for her country.

Her most ardent supporters are her friends and family. Among them, though, is her husband, Jonas Harmer, who has been at her side through thick and thin.

MyKayla Skinner and her husband, Jonas Harmer, have the cutest relationship on the planet. She is continuously posting images of herself with her boyfriend and sharing their love story on Instagram.

There isn’t much information regarding how the couple met and began dating. On November 20, 2017, Skinner began dating “kind, handsome, witty, charming, loving” Harmer, according to Skinner’s Instagram.

Harmer proposed to Skinner with a gorgeous engagement ring on October 16, 2019, after almost two years of dating. For his big day, he adorned the rooftop of a building in Salt Lake City.

A blanket adorned the rooftop, which was encircled by crimson rose petals. Harmer kept a letter board on the side with a bespoke greeting for his future wife covered with love. They couldn’t wait to tie the knot. They declared they would marry the following month, November 14, 2019, after only two days of being engaged.

In front of their friends and family, they had their wedding ceremony at the Gilbert Arizona Temple. In her white gown with a train, Skinner looked stunning, while Harmer looked dashing in his maroon tuxedo and sneakers.

Skinner took to Instagram on November 14, 2020, to wish her spouse a happy anniversary. She gushed about how she felt like she was living in a dream and that she couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her life with Harmer. Skinner and Harmer have yet to have their own kid. They do, however, have a Bengal kitten named Melo, whom they cherish as their child. Melo has her own Instagram account, which she calls @melothebluebengal.

The pair has a flawless relationship that they are not afraid to flaunt in front of the public. On Instagram and YouTube, they are constantly documenting their romance. MyKayla Skinner is their YouTube account, where the gymnast frequently vlogs her training sessions. Harmer also frequently collaborates with her on her videos.

Harmer has his own blooming c. Since March 2019, he has worked as a sales manager for Vivint Smart. (Cialis) He also trades cryptocurrency on a daily basis.

After the 2020 Olympics, MyKayla Skinner will retire

At the 2021 National Championships, Skinner placed ninth on uneven bars, eleventh on floor exercise, sixteenth on balance beam, and second on vault, earning her a spot on the national team.

Skinner qualified for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team Trials as a result of her strong performance, finishing sixth in the all-around. As a result, Skinner has been chosen to compete for the United States at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Simone Biles, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Grace McCallum, and Sunisa Lee are the official six athletes representing Team USA in Tokyo, along with Skinner. In the team events, Biles, Lee, Chiles, and McCallum will compete, while Skinner and Carey will compete in the individual apparatus events.

Skinner announced on Instagram on July 3, 2021 that she would retire from gymnastics following the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Because she is becoming pro, the gymnast said she will not compete in the NCAA after the Olympics.

Skinner went on to express her gratitude for what she had accomplished at Utah Gymnastics. She did say, though, that if she only stayed a collegiate athlete, she would never move further in her career.

As a result, she will just attend the University of Utah to get her degree rather than compete. Finally, Skinner expressed her joy at the prospect of representing her country in the upcoming competition and hopes to bring home a medal or two.

Tokyo 2020 will host the Olympic Games

Skinner competed as an individual at the Tokyo Olympics, not as part of the USA team. She finished 10th in the all-around with a total score of 55.398. As a result, she was unable to compete in the final event.

Skinner took to Twitter to express her thoughts.

Heartbroken, yet humbled and blessed for the incredible performance I put on tonight! Thanks for being my strongest supporters, you’ve all made me cry! I adore you all. xoxo myk

Simone Biles expressed her gratitude and support.

I’m so proud of this gal right here! Thanks for always keeping the gym light and entertaining! I adore you! @mykaylaskinner you are incredible, ms olympian.

Biles announced her resignation from the Tokyo Olympic finals earlier this week, citing mental health concerns. She has gotten an outpouring of support for her decision to prioritize her own health and well-being. In the all-around final, Biles has been replaced by Jade Carey. We congratulate them and wish them the best of luck.
