Montana Jordan is most recognized for his role as Georgie Cooper in the CBS television sitcom Young Sheldon. He has been a cast member of the show since 2017.
Montana has done two additional acting roles outside Young Sheldon; one in The Big Bang Theory in 2018 for one episode, and the other in the film The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter that same year.
Montana Jordan- Early Life
Montana was born on March 8, 2003, in Longview, Texas, United States. He is Kelli Pieratt Smith’s and Tony Jordan’s son.
The actress is the youngest of three siblings, the others being Katelli Jordan and Jaden Jordan. Madi June, the actor’s niece, is also a model. His family is from Texas.
On-Screen Family: The eldest kid of the family is played by Sheldon Montana, a young man. Georgie Cooper, real name George Cooper Jr., is the older brother of twins Sheldon Cooper and Missy Cooper.
Georgie Cooper was born in Galveston, Texas, in March 1975, to parents George Cooper Sr. and Mary Cooper. In the episode, his maternal grandmother is referred to as Meemaw.
Career: Movies and TV Shows
Montana made his acting debut in the 2018 film The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter. He played Jaden Ferguson opposite Josh Brolin and Danny McBride, who were Buck Ferguson and Don, respectively.
Later that year, he was cast in Young Sheldon, a spinoff of the popular TV sitcom The Big Bang Theory. In March of 2017, he and his mother relocated to Los Angeles to film the show.
In 2018, Montana featured in a guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory. In the episode The VCR Illumination, he played Georgie.
He has one soundtrack credit in addition to his acting credits. In the film The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter, he sang the song My Father Was a Hunter.
Montana has also featured on a few chat shows, including Steve in 2018 and The Talk in 2017, as well as two award shows, the 61st Annual TV Week Logie Awards in 2019 and the 39th Annual Young Artist Awards in 2018.
In 2017, he was nominated for the latter award in the category of Best Performance in a TV Series – Supporting Teen Actor for his work as Georgie in Young Sheldon.
