Mirian Rocah is a former Federal Prosecutor for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) and NBC News and MSNBC legal analyst. She is also a Pace Law School Criminal Justice Fellow.
Miriam was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York prior to joining Pace Law (SDNY).
Miriam successfully prosecuted and tried numerous cases, including several high-profile Organized Crime cases. Miriam held a number of leadership positions in SDNY, including Co-Chief of the White Plains Division.
Miriam worked as a law clerk for the Honorable John Gleeson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She even served on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Honorable Chester J. Straub.
Miriam has attained great success in her career, as evidenced by her awards. In 2016, she was awarded the Women in Federal Law Enforcement Leadership Award, as well as several Department of Justice awards and numerous others.

Miriam is happily married to her husband, David Brian Anders, a partner in the Litigation Department at Wachtell Lipton. His practice focuses on white-collar criminal and complex civil litigation matters, as well as other companies in connection with regulatory defense and Fortune 500 representation.
Miriam and Davis both have a legal background, so the couple may have crossed paths through their profession, sparking a spark in their relationship and eventually leading to marriage.
The couple’s marriage has resulted in the addition of two new members to their family, their children. They have two children, a daughter and a son, who have become the most important aspects of their lives.
Despite their hectic schedules, Miriam and David work hard as parents to provide their children with valuable lessons and lasting memories. They spend quality time with their children, most likely taking them on trips and enjoying each other’s company.

Miriam Rocah, a lawyer, was born on July 28, 1970. She went on to Harvard University and earned a magna cum laude in Bachelor of Arts.
Then, in 1997, she enrolled at New York University School of Law to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Order of the Coif.
