Mena Massoud was born on September 17, 1991 in Cairo, Egypt, according to his biography. He is Canadian by nationality and Egyptian by ethnicity. He immigrated to Canada with his sister Margaret and Egyptian-Coptic Christian parents when he was three years old. Mena is very close to his family and frequently posts pictures of them on social media.
