Walter, who was born a year before his father’s career-defining series premiered, is now in his late teens and appears on his parents’ social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Walter’s father, Dwight Schrute, is well-known for his role as a neurotic office worker in the smash NBC comedy The Office. Although there is a lot to say about actor Rainn Wilson, his son, who is slowly but steadily gaining popularity among Office fans, has little of his own story to share.

There are, however, a number of intriguing anecdotes about Rainn and Holiday’s only child. All of them can be found in the details section below.

Walter was born in month of October 2004. (age 17 years). Shay Cooper, his paternal grandmother, was a yoga instructor and actress. Robert G. Wilson (1941–2020), Rainn Wilson’s grandpa, was an author, artist, and business consultant who penned the science fiction novel Tentacles of Dawn.

They started dating soon after their first encounter and married on June 30, 1995, on Washington’s Kamala River.

They Had a Bad Start To Their Relationship

Rainn claims in his autobiography that he pondered his first contact with Holiday for a long time before summoning the bravery to check it up in the white pages.

“I don’t believe in love at first sight – it’s just not logical – but that’s exactly what happened to me that night,” says the author.

In his 2015 biography, The Bassoon King: My Life in the Art, Walter’s actor father discusses belief and idiocy.

He also describes how, when he and his wife first met in the 1990s, they were both crazy, artsy bohemians in New York City. They survived for years on pizza, falafel, beef with broccoli, and scrambled eggs, according to the writer/actor. Rainn then reveals a bunch of these bizarre blood clot thingies that started occasionally flowing out of her vagina just two days before the Big Cats writer’s due date.

They went to the hospital, but the examiners told them everything was fine and sent them home. The following night, at three a.m., the Washington-born actor reveals his wife began peeing blood once more, but this time it was huge. Shortly after, he led her to the tub, and the Portland native passed out. There was blood and amniotic fluid all over Walter’s mother by the time aid came.

They delivered him in less-than-ideal circumstances

At three a.m., they escorted her to one of the filthiest hospitals in the San Fernando Valley. Because the emergency room was obviously crowded, the paramedics parked Holiday and left him in a hallway.

Rainn claims that he couldn’t discover the pulse of his unborn child, and that nurses were of little to no help. The actor claims that giving birth to his son, Walter, was the most terrifying and traumatic event of his life.

Dr. Foroohar, a rumpled, bald Iranian ob-gyn, was ultimately responsible for the safe delivery of the baby boy, Walter Mckenzie Wilson.

According to People, Walter and his parents live in a 1974 Spanish-style hacienda mansion in Southern California.

Rainn’s son with Reinhorn, unlike his co-star Jenna Fischer’s, did not make it to the NBC series. There have also been rumors and gossip that Walter had already appeared in several films. However, no credible reference of such stories has been made.

Rainn Wilson and his wife couldn’t discover their son’s heartbeat when he was about to give birth.  It’ll only be a matter of time before the senior Wilson’s followers find out what his kid is truly passionate about.
