As a result, when she reported that Boykin, also known as Big Black, had died, many people were taken aback.
Christopher Boykin, Isis Rae Boykin’s father, died on May 9, 2017, after having a heart attack. In early May 2017, he was brought to a hospital in Plano, Texas, and was placed on a cardiac monitor.
Boykin’s heart stopped on May 9th, and medical personnel attempted to resuscitate him for 30 minutes. After numerous failed attempts, he was pronounced dead at 4:00 p.m.
