Ryan Haddon, Marc Blucas’ wife, changed her life for the better. Blucas has been married to Ryan Haddon, a life coach, for a long time.
Ryan Haddon struggled with alcohol and drug addiction before their marriage, which had a negative impact on her first marriage.
The mother-of-four is outspoken about her traumatic past, which she overcome by making the right decisions, including rehab and medicine.
Haddon Watched Her First Marriage Fall Apart
Haddon’s eponymous website has detailed how drinking and drug addiction ruined her first marriage with American actor Christian Slater. On February 14, 2000, the couple married and welcomed two children, a son and a girl.
Haddon, on the other hand, was struggling with her drinking problem. She went to a recovery center to quell the urge and was sober for four years at one point. After sipping a Kir Royal with her companions at The Four Seasons Hotel, she relapsed after four years of abstinence.
The stress of caring for her two children provided an excuse for her to drink more, and the issue deteriorated when she became a substance user.
To top it off, in November 2003, she tossed a glass at her husband in a fit of wrath at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Los Angeles. It needed nine stitches to treat the damage she caused on her husband.
Haddon was arrested for domestic battery but was subsequently released after Slater defended her, claiming it was an accident. Though the experience proved to be a watershed moment in her life, it had a negative impact on her marriage.
Slater filed for divorce in February 2005, alleging irreconcilable differences.
She Turned Her Life Around
Haddon entered recovery shortly after the incident in 2003 and participated in the Alcoholics Anonymous 12 Step program. The method, combined with meditation practice, assisted her in quitting drinking.
She began practicing Reiki healing after her recovery and went on to become a Reiki Level III practitioner and a meditation teacher. She also completed training with the International Coaching Federation and became a qualified Life Coach.
She became a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and received a qualification as a hypnotherapist shortly after. She resurfaced while assisting others in realigning their thoughts, bodies, and spirits. She married Marc Blucas in Pennsylvania on July 25, 2009, after meeting him in Los Angeles.
