Malu Trevejo, a.k.a. Mara Luisa Trevejo, is showing off her new back tattoo. The Cuban-American singer took to her TikTok account on Saturday, November 20, to reveal the first sight of her massive new dragon tattoo on her back, which she has inscribed all over her body.
Malu Trevejo sat on a bench and ate chips while the tattoo artist, Alex Chiong, inked her back in the TikTok video.
The artist also shared a photo of himself tattooing a dragon on her back on his own Instagram account. “Today is Friday, and the body knows it,” the caption stated. “It knows that it likes tattoos.”
Trevejo posted another video on TikTok later that day. She danced to El Alfa, Farruko, and Chael Produciendo’s “Curazao” before spinning around and flaunting her new tattoo.
She also stated on her Instagram stories that her new body art was not finished and that she has another appointment next week to finish it.
Her New Back Tattoo Gets a Reaction from Fans
Trevejo’s fresh tattoos wowed fans as soon as she showed them off in a TikTok video. One fan remarked on her TikTok video, “I adore how tattoos look on you.”
“That’s a fantastic tat can’t wait to see what it looks like totally finished,” remarked someone who was looking forward to seeing the finished tattoo.
Another admirer wrote, “What’s ur aftercare for the back tattoo?”
Other Tattoos by Malu Trevejo and Their Meanings
Trevejo’s fan asked her how many tattoos she has and what they symbolize during one of her Instagram live sessions in March 2020.
In response to the query, she admitted to having more than 10 tattoos while simultaneously displaying her left arm’s ‘Tiger with Lotus’ tattoo.
She explained that the tiger was her favorite animal and the lotus was her favorite flower, so she chose that design. She then showed off another tattoo on the same arm, which was a quote by Erin Van Vuren.
According to the phrase, “I will not be another flower that is picked for its beauty and then abandoned to perish. I’ll be outgoing, tough to locate, and difficult to forget.”
An eye tattooed right below her chest is another prominent tattoo on her body. Chiong is said to have etched the tattoo on her in June 2018. Her chest tattoo is a one-of-a-kind ocean-themed artwork, with the shell forming the woman’s nose. In addition, there are tiny fishes near the eyes, as well as a crescent moon on top.
Trevejo also has a crown tattooed on her right ankle. In July of this year, she got a matching tattoo with her ex-boyfriend. The crown tattoo represents power, authority, good fortune, significance, victory, triumph, honor, and glory.

Trevejo’s left hand also bears a Medusa tattoo. Medusa was a monstrous female who wore living snakes on her head instead of hair, according to Greek mythology.
A hibiscus flower is tattooed on her left forearm, a butterfly is tattooed on her left shoulder, and paw prints are tattooed on her left wrist.
