Christopher Cornelius “Kit” Culkin, Kieran’s father, is the brother of Bonnie Bedelia and a former performer best remembered for his Broadway plays. Patricia Brentrup, his mother, lived with Kit for 21 years, from 1974 to 1995, but they were never wed.
