LiAngelo went to Chino Hills High School for his studies. For four years, he was a member of the high school basketball team. During these years, he had a number of commendable achievements. Despite this, he was not considered a top NBA prospect at the time.
Ball later joined the basketball team at the University of California. His plans, however, were thwarted after he and a few other UCLA players were caught shoplifting in China. He was suspended from the basketball team as a result of this, and he eventually dropped out of university.
Career
LiAngelo was attempting to establish himself in the NBA as he was not yet considered a prospect. As a result, he and his brother signed with Prienai, a Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) team, in 2017. He played in the LKL for one season but did not have much success. As a result, he was not chosen in the 2018 NBA draft as he had hoped.
As a result, he signed with the Los Angeles Ballers, a JBA team. His second season was far superior to his first. His game against the Philadelphia Ballers, in which he scored a career-high 58 points, was one of the highlights of his season. He would soon follow this up with a finals win over the Seattle Ballers. In this game, he racked up 58 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists, earning him the title of Finals MVP.
