The couple surprised fans by announcing their wedding date of March 30, 2021. However, it was not Aidan and Caitlin who broke the good news. Instead, one of their family members informed MailOnline exclusively that the pair planned a secret wedding in Rome in August 2020.
The pair didn’t want to wait during the pandemic, so they married in front of their parents.
Despite their plans for a small wedding, Aidan insisted on his wife’s parents, Eillen and Pearse, attending. According to a source, Aidan would not have married if they were not present.
They went on a dinner date a few days after the wedding, and the couple was seen holding hands and kissing.
