Workout Routine of Khabib Nurmagomedov

Khabib is the best fighter in the world, and regardless of what the rest of the world thinks, he has proven that he is better than any other fighter who has ever entered the UFC ring. There is no doubt about that, and it is also true that there have been many undefeated fighters in the UFC, but the longest they have stayed undefeated is 14-0 before retiring, whereas Khabib is the only fighter who has fought 29 times in the UFC and has never lost.

What else will you need to prove his greatness if this isn’t enough? People have also claimed that Khabib left because he was getting old and knew he would lose eventually. Perhaps he would have lost, but is that the reason he fled? No way, Khabib declared in 2012 that if he became champion and remained undefeated, he would leave the UFC because he would have no reason to stay.

Do you have any doubts? Then watch this video of Khabib when he was 24 years old in an interview. So, if you want to train like Khabib, know that it won’t be easy, so be prepared to learn everything Khabib does. First and foremost, even though the fighter has exited the ring, he has not abandoned his workout. On his website, Khabib documents his workouts as well as his daily life, including what he eats and other details. That’s the best way to stay up to date on his schedule, so if you’re interested, I recommend joining.

What is he doing now? Khabib focuses on training others who he trains himself, and you’ll see them on the big stage soon. His training consists primarily of cardio, core workouts, mat workouts (or sparring and MMA workouts), and gym training. I’m not sure how many days Khabib is training right now, but I think he’ll benefit from at least five days of training.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s workout includes the following:

Workout with Khabib (Cardio & Core Workout)

You can see Khabib doing a variety of cardio workouts; one of his favorite cardio workouts is running, which he does on his home gym’s treadmill, as you can see in this video he posted on Instagram.

I would also recommend that you run for 30-40 minutes at a moderate pace five days a week. It’s best to complete this workout first thing in the morning. After you’ve finished, we’ll do a quick circuit routine that will take no more than 20-30 minutes out of your day. So, let’s get this party started:

Circuits: 3

Reps: 45 seconds

Rest time after each circuit: 2 minutes

  • Crunches
  • Bicycle crunches
  • Russian twist
  • Hanging leg raises
  • Wood chops
  • Side plan to a crunch
  • Plank hold (till failure)

MMA & Gym Workout with Khabib Nurmagomedov

In a YouTube video, Khabib revealed that he does a lot of sparring workouts and helps others get spars. Khabib also works on various MMA fighting styles, such as groundwork, submissions, heavy and light pad workouts, and so on.

So, once you’ve started focusing on your MMA workout, try to keep that in mind. It should be sufficient exercise, but we supplement with weight training to improve overall fitness. I believe Khabib alternates between upper and lower body workouts on different days.

Because we’ll be doing so much, try to incorporate a few weight exercises into our daily routine. Three days of upper-body exercises and two days of lower-body exercises, for example. Also, limit yourself to no more than five exercises per day, as we don’t want to overwork our bodies.
