Larry Elder used to be married. For two years, the conservative talk radio presenter was married to a physician who also happened to be a lifelong acquaintance. Their marriage ended in 1994 because his ex-wife wanted children, but he was opposed to the idea.

Following the engagement rumors with Datig, the elder enjoyed his private life and didn’t really announce his relationship status in public for several years. In the 2010s, when social media had greatly grown, the Larry Elder Show presenter frequently mentioned his girlfriend on social media platforms.
To be more specific, he implied on Twitter a few of times that he was no longer married but had a girlfriend.
One Twitterati declared her love for him on February 11, 2017, but advised him not to inform his wife. She wrote, “I adore you Larry, don’t tell your wife, lol.” In response, he revealed that he was not married but did have a girlfriend.

Larry Elder- Early Life
Elder was born in Los Angeles on April 27, 1952, as the second of his parents’ three boys. Kirk (b. 1949 – d. 2019) and Dennis (b. 1949 – d. 2019) are his siblings (b.1954).
Viola Conley Elder, Elder’s mother, rose to fame after appearing on his nationally syndicated radio talk show, The Larry Elder Show. He used to call her the “Chief Justice” with affection. She died on June 13, 2006, in Los Angeles, at the age of 81. Similarly, his father, Randolph Elder, grew up in a single-parent home and was sent out by his mother and her then-boyfriend when he was 13 years old.
As a result, Elder’s father worked in a variety of professions for a living, including as a cook in the US Marine Corps during WWII, as a shoeshine boy, and as a hotel bellhop. He eventually used his funds to build his own Cafe near Downtown Los Angeles, which he successfully ran for 30 years.
As a result, Elder frequently speaks openly about his departed father, noting that he held his father in high regard. Elder stated his father was his role model in an interview with Reason.
