For Larry David and his wife, Ashley Underwood, age is just a number.
They are nearly 38 years apart in age. They’ve been together for about five years, and their age difference has caused controversy throughout their relationship.
Regardless, it hasn’t stopped David and Underwood’s love from growing. On the contrary, their love for each other grows stronger by the day.

David had been married to his first wife, Laurie, for nearly 15 years before meeting Underwood. Between 1993 and 2007, the couple was married.
There isn’t much information available about David and Laurie’s relationship history. It’s unclear how they met and began dating.
Despite this, the couple was blessed with two daughters, Cazzie and Romy, during their 14-year marriage. David and Laurie’s divorce was widely publicized.
The Seattle Times reported on June 5, 2007, that their divorce was “very amicable.” Similarly, they stated that they would raise their children “as friends.”
A decade later, the Curb Your Enthusiasm star rediscovered love in the arms of Underwood.
They were introduced by Cohen and his wife, Isla Fisher, at Sacha Baron Cohen’s birthday party in 2017.
In an April 2020 New York Times article, David discussed meeting Underwood. “We were seated next to each other, I think with that in mind,” he explained.
He did, however, surprise Underwood by leaving before dessert. He did so because he “didn’t want to risk staying too long and blowing the good impression” with her.
Soon after, the couple began dating and falling in love. In 2019, Underwood moved into her boyfriend’s Pacific Palisades home.
They were also quarantined with David’s daughter, Cazzie, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Underwood and David also have two pets: an Australian Shepherd named Bernie Sanders and a cat named Elwood.
Living under the same roof as his partner and daughter, however, was difficult for David. He admitted that there was tension between at least two of them at the house.
Similarly, David and Underwood had issues with the latter watching a TV show while she waited for her boyfriend. Despite their witty banter, their love grew stronger.
David married for the second time in a private ceremony in October 2020. People exclusively announce the wedding news, but little is known about it.

His wife, like David, works in the entertainment industry. She is best known for producing Cohen’s Showtime satire series Who Is America?
She was also a producer on Cohen’s film, Borat: Subsequent Movie Film. However, it has been reported that Underwood did not always intend to be a producer.
She studied law at Marshall Law School, which is affiliated with the University of Illinois. But, rather than becoming a lawyer, she pursued her passion for writing and producing.
