Career
Taylor got his start in the industry by assisting Tesfaye with creative video productions. He created the cover for House of Balloons in 2011 with the help of his ex-girlfriend and a break into the Ontario College of Art & Design University’s Adobe software. He also oversaw the aesthetic and visual aspects of the Weeknd’s two new albums, Thursday and Echoes of Silence, which were both released under the XO label, where Taylor works as creative director.
He is also in charge of Tesfaye’s live performances, as well as her marketing and branding, which includes album artwork and merchandise. His collaboration with Tesfaye earned him a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for Music in 2017.
