Virgin Abloh is a well-known fashion designer, DJ, and stylist based in the United States. He is well known as the former creative director of Donda, the firm founded by music superstar Kanye West.
After leaving Kanye’s side, Virgil established himself in the fashion world in 2013 with the introduction of his luxury streetwear brand Off-White.
Along with having an apparel company, his other fashion accomplishments include being appointed artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton in 2018 and collaborating with IKEA on a designer furniture collection.

Virgil originally gained prominence as a result of his collaborations with Kanye West. He was the creative director for Kanye’s firm and also assisted him with his music; he collaborated with designer Riccardo Tisci on the artwork for Kanye and Jay-2011 Z’s album Watch the Throne.
The clothes designer then established his own line, Pyrex Vision, in 2012. His firm earned money in an unorthodox way: they screen printed logos, slogans, and images onto deadstock garments from major brands such as Ralph Lauren and Champion for $40 a piece and sold them for more than $550 each.
However, Virgil desired to do more than simply print logos on clothing. As a result, he shuttered Pyrex Vision in 2013 and launched his second company, Off-White, the following year.
Off-White was a type of relaunch of Pyrex Vision, with new product designs. Off-White, based in Milan, debuted a womenswear collection in 2014 and established its first concept store in Tokyo in 2016.
In 2018, the fashion pioneer was named artistic head of Louis Vuitton’s menswear division. Since then, he has been collaborating with them.
Apart from the fashion industry, Virgil is also involved in the furniture industry. In 2019, he teamed with Sweden’s IKEA to produce an artsy furniture collection.
Personal Life: Wife And Children
Virgil is married to Shannon Sundberg, his high school sweetheart. They dated for ten years before committing to anything legal. In April 2009, he married Shannon.
Their spectacular wedding took place at Chicago’s Four Seasons Hotel.
The couple is parents to two children, Lowe and Grey Abloh, and the family resides in Chicago.
