Riz Ahmed’s Workout Plan

Riz Ahmed is a fantastic actor who performs and trains exclusively for the roles he is given. If you look at Riz before Jason Bourne and Rogue One, you’ll notice that he was in good shape, but after that, he became ripped, with no visible body fat. So, what exactly did he do to reach that fitness level?

So, I did some research and discovered a few things that he does to maintain his incredible fitness. Men’s Journal conducted an interview with Riz Ahmed in which he discussed everything he has accomplished. Riz switched from metabolic training to heavy lifting compound movement training, according to Men’s Journal. Riz also stated that he did not do any cardio during his training.

Riz also stated that he relied on various exercises such as Yoga and Pilates to improve his posture and flexibility. Both workouts improve flexibility and burn a few calories while also providing an excellent stretching exercise that helps to reduce the risk of injury. Riz stated that he works out six days a week and that yoga and pilates help him a lot after a long day of shooting.

When Men’s Journal asked Riz about mental fitness, he said he used to use the Headspace Meditation app to meditate. Now that we know what he does, let’s turn it into a workout routine that you can follow to get Riz Ahmed’s body.

Workout Plan of Riz Ahmed

Riz Ahmed’s workout includes the following:-

Compound Exercise

Monday through Saturday are training days.

One-hour duration

Riz uses a variety of exercises and techniques in compound training. If you’re not sure what compound training is, allow me to explain. Compound training or compound movements are workouts that target multiple body parts while performing a single exercise. The following are some of the best compound exercises:

  • Bench press: this exercise targets the chest, triceps, and deltoids.
  • Dips target the chest, triceps, and deltoids.
  • Thighs, hamstrings, lower back, forearms, and traps are targeted with deadlifts.
  • Squats target the thighs, glutes, inner quadriceps, and hamstrings.
  • Traps, lats, and lower back are targeted with bent-over rows.
  • Bench press with a close grip targets the pecs, triceps, and delts.

Pilates and Yoga of Riz Ahmed

Monday through Saturday are training days.

15 to 30 minutes in length

Yoga and pilates are both excellent ways to keep your body in good shape and maintain flexibility. It can be done as part of stretching exercises after any activity. Training maintains your posture and reduces pain and injury risk by doing these workouts for 15 to 30 minutes before and after the compound. As a result, make sure to do it both before and after your workout.

Meditation

Every day is a training day.

15 to 30 minutes in length

Meditation is the most important mental fitness and health workout you can do. It calms your mind and gives you control over your body. You can meditate whenever you want, whether it’s right after you wake up or right before you go to bed. Begin with ten minutes and gradually increase by five minutes every three days.
