Fans have long assumed that Julian Morris, like many other performers in the industry, is gay.
Morris rose to prominence after acting in the 2005 film Cry Wolf, and he is best recognized for his parts in the television shows Pretty Little Liars, Man in an Orange Shirt, and New Girl. While his parts in the aforementioned films helped him gain a large following, one of them also sparked LGBT suspicions.
It All Began On-Screen Man in an Orange Shirt is undoubtedly Morris’ best-known film. The TV miniseries tells the narrative of Morris’ character, Adam Berryman, a gay man who hides his true identity due of his grandmother’s embarrassment.
Morris noted in an interview with Iris Covet Book that the film highlighted a narrative that he felt was really essential to tell. In addition, he found the persona to be both unpleasant and moving.
While it may be seen as a testimony to his acting abilities, viewers began to speculate whether the actor was gay in real life shortly after the series premiered.
Is Julian Morris a homosexual?
In February 2020, a Twitter user named @colinfarrall claimed to have discovered tangible evidence that Morris was dating another man. Two photos were added to the tweet.

Morris and another man were seen outdoors, possibly on a hike, in the first one. The second photograph captured two males kissing. However, because the shot did not show Morris’ face, there was no way of knowing if it was him. The other man in the photos, though, was a familiar face to Morris: Landon Ross. Not only that, but Morris and Ross’ frequent appearances on each other’s social media feeds appear to indicate that they are close friends.
Morris and Ross frequently tag each other in their social media posts, and many even praise them as a pair in the comments. Take, for example, his most recent Instagram post. Morris at his Islington apartment, soaking in the first rays of the morning sun, was featured in a slideshow posted on April 2, 2021. The final image in the series featured Ross alongside what appeared to be a decorative window of some type.
The identical thing can be seen on Ross’ Instagram account. A considerable number of postings on each of the two’s Instagram accounts feature the other or, at the very least, tag the other.
Relationship Status
Despite this, some publications have reported that Morris is dating actress Sarah Bolger. Most of the proof given by these sites comes from Instagram as well.
Morris shared a photo of Bolger on Instagram in 2014, in which the actress was seen staring off into the horizon amid a green forest setting. To keep warm, she wore a big black jacket. While the snap may have meant anything, it was the caption that caused the mist to lift. Morris referred to Bolger as “my gorgeous” in the caption.
Morris, on the other hand, has largely kept his personal life private, refusing to confirm any of the two partnerships to fans or reporters. And for those who are still wondering, “Is Julian Morris gay?” the verdict is still out.
